Cheryl is an avid outdoors woman that enjoys all forms of hunting and fishing. She is most passionate about bowhunting for white-tailed deer and ice fishing for northern pike. When Cheryl is not hunting or fishing, she is an Entomologist at the University of Vermont with a research program focused on sustainable insect pest and tick management. She also enjoys cooking wild game in about every way possible.

Larry has been with the outdoors woman program since it started in 1993 and attended over forty five events since. He taught Hunter Education for twenty five years. He started in competition in 1975 in Hi Power rifle at 200-1500 yard targets. He has been an active shooter in pistol and rifle matches for over forty years. He has been the President of the Lamoille Valley Fish and Game Club in Morrisville Vermont and currently in charge of the gun show in Essex for the Club.

NSCA member and competitive Sporting Clays shooter since 2012, NSCA Certified Sporting Clays Instructor, NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor. Tom is a National Sporting Clays Association Level I certified instructor and has been for several years. He has done courses for Doe Camp for many years.

Kathy is a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo. Blue belt Combat Hapkido. I grew up in Marlboro Vermont, I started my Martial Art journey in 2003 when my son joined the Lil Dragon class at Vermont Valley Taekwondo in Wilmington Vermont. I started training with him in 2008. My son and I earned our Black Belts together in 2014. He went on to college and I became the L'l Dragon instructor at Vermont Valley Taekwondo. Today I teach an afterschool program for the Elementary School and an evening class at the Community Center in Wilmington for 4-10 years olds.

Tara brings a wealth of experience to this immersive retreat. With a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia State University, Tara has built her career on injury prevention, first as an Athletic Trainer working with athletes to enhance health and performance, and later as an Injury Prevention Coordinator dedicated to trauma education and outreach.
Her work has spanned sports medicine, road safety programs, falls prevention, and critical lifesaving techniques, including STOP THE BLEED. Passionate about equipping individuals with the knowledge and confidence to navigate challenges safely.

She is an Asst. Professor at the UVM. She serves as an OB/GYN hospitalist at the UVM. Worked at SVMC serving as an OB/GYN Physician. Dartmouth Hitchcock Putnam Physicians; and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
MD degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine/East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. Residency at the UVM Medical Center, formally Fletcher Allen Health Care. Active Duty Physician in the United States Air Force.. She was stationed in Japan at Yokota Air Force Base in Tokyo and at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany during her time in the military. She also provided manning assists at Vincenzia Army Medical Center, Vincenzia Italy and Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage Alaska. She is the recipient of the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal among other medals and honors.

She began backpacking as a junior in high school, over 20 years ago. Since then she and her husband have backpacked in over 20 National Parks, including canoe five days through the Everglades on the Wilderness Waterway, numerous national monuments, state parks, and Canadian parks. They have also spent two weeks on the North Country Trail in Michigan. Whenever they have free time they are out hiking, backpacking, and camping. When traveling they free/disperse camp whenever possible.

Danielle has been log rolling since 2004, learning from two nationally ranked women log rollers who graduated from Middlebury College. She continues to teach and roll with the Middlebury College Log Rolling Club. She is currently a Museum Preparator at the College, works as a freelance archivist, and devotes time to the Orwell Historical Museum and Society. Some of her best memories are from teaching log rolling at Doe Camp.

Mike has long been a strong proponent of promoting and growing women in hunting! He is a VT Hunter Ed. Chief Instructor, working closely with VT F&W staff in developing LTH programs. He has spent countless hours in a mentoring role for up-and-coming strong women hunters. He has presented at the Yankee Classic, Schools and Sportsperson Clubs, etc. Recently he had the opportunity to connect with the staff of Doe Camp Nation and ADC. He looks forward to working with them and all of you!
